Joey B Toonz (real name: Joey Borelli) grew up 90 miles north of Manhattan in Kingston, NY. In the mid-2000’s, Joey toured animation festivals (including Spike & Mike’s Sick & Twisted Animation Festival) with his crude animated short films poking fun at pop culture and celebrities. he also illustrated t-shirts/merchandise for comedians michael rapaport and jeff ross. In 2020, he began making short humorous YouTube videos roasting societies obsession with smartphones, selfies, TikTok and other popular social media trends.
His videos started gaining traction during the height of the pandemic when he started humorously highlighting how awful people were treating each other during that time. Joe Rogan caught wind of his videos, shared one with his audience and Joey B gained 50k followers over night. From there he started his own comedy podcast, Joey B vs. the World where he has been trying to make sense of our inverted modern world ever since. joey has since racked up over 1 million subscribers on youtube.
His voice has been featured in Happy’s Humble Burger Farm for Xbox, PS and Nintendo Switch, appeared as a guest on The Adam Carolla Show and many other comedy podcasts. Joey is also a contributing cartoonist for Flip City Magazine.
